Airplus celebrates its 11th anniversary in the HVAC industry with its recent investments and renewed corporate identity applications. Kubilay Çiftci, General Manager of Airplus Air Conditioning Technologies, said:

"11th. In these days when we celebrate our age, we have made innovations both in our physical working environment and in our corporate identity practices that reflect our spirit. We renewed our logo for our 2nd decade in the HVAC industry. We wanted the “+” symbol forming the letter “P” in our new logo to symbolize our brand name and the added value our brand promises to our customers. We have completely changed our physical working and production environment, and we have moved both our administrative staff and our production to our new facility of 9,000 square meters, on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, on the route of Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, in Sırapınar district, Hüseyinli-Şile box office. 6.700 m2 of the total area of 9.000 m2 is closed area and 2.300 m2 open area. In the closed area, there is a 2-storey Administrative Department of 1.150 m2 and R&D, P&D, production and stock departments of 200 m2. In the administrative department, we have created a large conference hall (especially due to the established service demands in foreign projects) in order to ensure the continuity of the qualified workforce and after-sales service (service network) with outsourcing. Here, we aim to provide theoretical training to the candidates and to update the information by providing refresher training to the existing resources and to ensure the continuity of the service quality. After the theoretical training, we introduce the products in the showroom. In this way, we have tripled our production capacity, and we can respond to projects faster. In our new factory, we used an architectural design that focuses on the comfort and happiness of the employees and the continuity of quality in production and efficiency. In order to increase the interest of the employees of all departments in the products and to make them feel the common purpose, we have enabled the production area to be monitored from the common areas as well as the management departments.

Our product range is again quite wide: Air Handling Units, DX Coil Air Handling Units, Hygienic Type Package Air Handling Units and Rooftop Package Air Handling Units (rooftop), Fan Coil Units, Pool Dehumidification Units, Heat Pump Heat Recovery Unit, Ceiling Type. Heat Recovery Device, Ceiling Type Heat Recovery Device with DX Coil, Vertical Type Heat Recovery Device, Hot Air Appliance, Cell Fans, Cell Fan, Shelter Fan, Hood Plant, Shaft Damper, Floor Convector, Rectangular Duct Type Fan, Duct Type We continue to produce Heaters, Axial Jet Fans and HEPA Filter Boxes, and we design and produce innovative products that are needed by the domestic and international market, as we have done for the past 11 years.

There are 12 assembly lines in our new production area. Again, one of the investments we will make in 2019 will be one punch and one fiber laser machine that we will add to our existing machine fleet. The increase in the number of assembly lines naturally increases our need for qualified personnel. We are well prepared for this.

We continue to provide One-Stop Supply and After-Sales Service for HVAC with our production, sales, after-sales services team and technical staff.

As Airplus, we do not sell through a dealership network in the domestic market, we prefer to provide direct service. However, we prefer to work with strong business partners in foreign markets (for example, in countries with different climates such as the Turkic Republics, Middle East and Balkan countries) in order to eliminate cultural differences and to take advantage of being local, and we meticulously conduct our partner research on this issue when entering new markets. As the Turkish air conditioning industry, we have become competitive in exports, with the increase in consumer awareness, 'comfortable living' conditions have become the 'lower limit' sought, this is of course an opportunity for the domestic market, but it is not enough because the economic fluctuations experienced make exports indispensable for manufacturers. However, sudden increases in foreign currencies cause the cost of the main components we use in our products to skyrocket. Considering that the support given to the construction sector is not sufficient and the sector is in a shrinking trend, it can be easily said that the industrial-oriented development of our country should be preferred, especially the share of the manufacturing industry in national income should be increased. When this is achieved, more and more products can be sold to foreign markets and a continuous and reliable foreign exchange inflow can be achieved, which naturally keeps other sectors and the construction sector alive. Unfortunately, we have only been able to reach this far with the artificial pumping in the construction sector, and we have not yet been able to reach the main goal I mentioned. The shrinkage in the construction sector, of course, deeply hurt the manufacturing companies that are active only in the domestic market, and negatively affected the companies such as Airplus that target the domestic and foreign markets together and that do not strategically collect their eggs in one basket.”
