SMOKE DAMPER

DEFINITION

Smoke Evacuation Damper (Wall Mount)

Smoke Evacuation Damper (Installation in the Duct)

MATERIAL

The product casing is manufactured from 1.50 mm thick galvanized sheet, and the blades are manufactured from galvanized sheet. The wing slots are made of bronze material, and the wing mechanism material is steel. They work with parallel blades. It works with a 24V-230V smoke damper or fire damper motor, depending on the feature of the place where it will be used.

APPLICATION

In the event that the smoke and heat generated during the fire are discharged into the atmosphere in a controlled manner; Personnel or firefighters entering the fire area will work more comfortably during the rescue, cooling or extinguishing process. Fire smoke and heat will be thrown out before it spreads to other areas, so that the products, systems and building elements in the entire volume will not be damaged and the damage will be reduced. By preventing the heat from accumulating inside, the acceleration of the fire will be reduced and the products and systems in the volume will be prevented from reaching the combustion temperature. Toxic gases will be prevented from staying inside. It will not allow the accumulated heat to affect the load-bearing structural elements and will ensure that the static of the structure is not deteriorated. In single-storey buildings, indoor car parks of buildings, underground transportation systems, domed architectures, large shafts and elevator shafts without positive pressurization, heat and smoke accumulate rapidly at the upper levels with the onset of fire. If the smoke and heat are not thrown out with dampers, the smoke accumulated in the upper elevations collapses and moves on a floor basis to spread horizontally, deteriorating the properties of the steel structure carriers.

ASSEMBLY

  • Mounting to the air duct by means of bolt-nut and duct clip
  • Thanks to the special frame structure, it can be mounted on the concrete slot, together with the box profile, with screws.
